| Course Description |
This course is suitable for anyone working as leaders and managers within settings, in both paid or voluntary work.
This 2 day course looks at developing leadership and management skills in the childcare sector. Day one looks at the business focus, leadership and communication, whilst day two concentrates on team building, staff development and action planning.
By the end of the course participants will be able to: explain the difference between leadership and management, be able to link different management theories to practice, have an understanding of team development, be able to recognise their own leadership style & understand the importance of managing change
